2017 Student Registration Form & Student Health Information
Like a tapestry, threads of creativity run through all of us. This program weaves together visual and performing arts for a creative experience that is unique for each child. At Tapestry, students have the unique opportunity to express their creativity through total immersion in the arts. Tapestry is a two-week, full-day program for students entering 2nd-8th grade in August 2017 and is held on the campus of St. Luke’s Episcopal Day School.
Students experience four sessions a day, guided by talented local artists who are passionate about art and eager to help young people grow creatively. Each day during lunch, students enjoy demonstrations and performances by camp participants and guest artists in all fields. The students are divided into two age groups by grade level: 2nd-4th and 5th-8th. We seek to provide each child with the opportunity to grow artistically as well as explore new areas of interest. This year we are excited to offer the following courses:
All Courses: Bookbinding & Creative Writing, Cooking, Dance, Drama, Drawing I, Film & Digital Media, Guitar I (beginning), Jewelry Making, Martial Arts, Mosaics, Musical Theatre, Painting I, Pottery I, Print Making, Sculpture, Sewing I, Video Game Development I, Woodworking
Level II Courses*: Drawing II, Guitar II, Painting II, Pottery II, Sewing II, Video Game Development
*These classes are designed to include different projects for students who have already taken this course at Tapestry. Every effort will be made to schedule students in these sessions and returning students are always welcome to repeat any course offered.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Jennifer Wyly at email@example.com.
